Provides a single access point for individuals seeking adult mental health and substance use services in the Westcoast area, including Tofino, Ucluelet and surrounding regions.
Services Provided
  • Screening, assessment and short term consultations
  • Education on and referrals to the most appropriate services, teams or community resources
  • Connection to services such as counselling, case management, psychiatry, substance use supports and withdrawal management (detox), as well as navigation for family members of the client
How to Access Services
  • Available for individuals aged 19+ years old who are living in the Westcoast area (Tofino, Ucluelet and surrounding)
  • Those living with moderate to severe mental health or addiction issues can self-refer by calling to schedule an appointment with our assessment team at 250-726-1282, who will then arrange appointments with the appropriate services
  • Accepts referrals from individuals, clinicians, community agencies and health and social services professionals
Crisis and Emergency Services: The Community Response Team provides urgent response for adults who may be suicidal or in a psychiatric crisis through the 24-Hour Vancouver Island Crisis Line 1-888-494-3888.

Tofino Walk-in Times at Tofino Hospital: Tuesdays from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Ucluelet Walk-in Times at Ucluelet office (272 Main Street): Thursdays from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
