The Halalt Health Unit serves those who wish to see an Indigenous Health professional about their health concerns, providing comprehensive and culturally safe health services. The health unit provides a variety of appointment-based primary care services alongside holistic holistic community health initiatives such as:
- Indigenous Health Diabetes Nurse Educator
- Indigenous Health Dietitians to address nutrition-related care
- All Nations' Healing Room, a space for cultural wellness and healing
- Indigenous Liaison Nurses and Patient Navigators for care coordination
- Indigenous Nurse Practitioners for diagnosing, treating and prescribing as needed.
