A social and recreational opportunity for young girls.
Guiding is a place where girls and young women can challenge themselves, put their ideas into action, take part in an amazing range of activities, and gain the skills to confidently navigate their world. They do this all in a safe and supportive environment that welcomes every girl and encourages her to be everything she wants to be. As a Girl Guide, you’ll get together with other girls your own age regularly throughout the school year as part of a group called a unit. In everything you do, you’ll have support from inspirational women volunteers – your Guiders.

How you choose to spend your time together is totally up to you! There are plenty of ideas to choose from on our Girls First program platform – from active games to creative crafts, outdoor adventures, experiments, and more! And you can add your own field trips, events and experiences to make your meetings your own.

There is a membership cost associated with being a girl guide which is around approximately $100 per year. Individuals can apply for financial assistance with the membership fees directly through the girl registration system! (Look for the “Apply for Subsidy” button).
