Offers a variety of programming and services for children, youth and families in Gabriola Island.

Parent & Tot Drop-In (Closed July & August):
  • Thursdays, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Blue Building, Door #2: Caregivers and their children ages 0 - 3 years old are invited to drop in and visit with other parents while their children play. This free program also offers a baby item exchange and community fridge & pantry.
  • 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the Blue Building(Vancouver Island Regional Library): 10:30 am - 11:00 am - Giggle & Move Toddler Time - best for ages 0 - 3 years old and 11:00 am - 11:30 am - Story Time Shimmy & Sing - best for ages 3 - 5 years old
  • Baby Item Donation: Donations for the baby item exchange are accepted only during Parent & Tot Drop-In program hours. To arrange a donation outside of these times, please email hopecentre@shaw.ca

Teen Drop-In: Fridays, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm in the Blue Building (during the school year): Please note that this program does not run every Friday. The sign facing North Road announces when the next Teen Drop-In is scheduled to take place.

Teens (Grades 7-12) are welcome to drop in and hang out in a substance-free space that offers a pool table, arcade games, video games, board games, shuffleboard, and snacks. There is often a live DJ and special dinners cooked on-site. Attendees must follow a code of conduct that demonstrates respect for the staff, volunteers, and space.
