Provides acute care and urgent care services to assess and treat medical conditions, and stabilize for hospital transfer if required. Serves Gabriola Island.
Also provides primary medical care and chronic disease management by appointment. The following services are provided:
- Full Service Family Practice: The doctors at the clinic provide the full range of primary care services. Patients are welcome to approach us about sexual health, LGBTQ+ health, family planning, termination of pregnancy, drug and alcohol problems, palliative medicine, and medical assistance in dying (MAiD).
- Urgent and Emergency Care: They provide urgent care for the community.
- Home and Community Care: The home care nurse does wound care, palliative care and post-operative care and works out of our clinic daily. The rest of the team, which includes occupational and physical therapy, social work, respiratory therapy, seniors’ mental health, and nurse case management, visit Gabriola and the clinic on a regular basis.
